Rutland, VT : Drunk pedestrian hit by car on South Main Street on Tuesday, July 28, 2015

Rutland police say a pedestrian was drunk and likely at fault when she was struck by a car Tuesday.
Investigator say it happened on South Main Street just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night.They say Brenda Phillips was not using a crosswalk when she was hit by a passing driver. Authorities say she was not seriously injured.The accident is still under investigation, but right now charges are not expected in the case.
