Henderson,KY : Evansville man injured in Tuesday night crash on January, Tuesday 16th 2018

An Evansville man was injured Tuesday night in a one-vehicle collision on the Audubon Parkway.

Darryl Christian Jr., 26, was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. His condition was unavailable.

The Kentucky State Police said the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. when Christian was traveling east on the Audubon Parkway in a 2009 Toyota Corolla. Authorities said an animal ran out in front of Christian's vehicle and he tried to avoid it. The state police said his vehicle struck the animal and then entered the median.

KSP said the animal wasn't located.
