Glasgow, KY : Man seriously injured in ATV accident on Tuesday, August 1, 2017

A man sustained serious injuries Tuesday in an ATV accident in Barren County.

Dralin R. Shockley, 61, was driving his ATV on Hidden Lake Road at about 3 p.m. when he went off the roadway and struck a utility pole, ejecting him from the ATV according to a Barren County Sheriff's Office news release issued Wednesday morning.

Shockley was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital from the scene with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the news release.

No other information about his condition was included in the news release.
