Pinconning Township, MI: Motorcyclist killed after striking deer, being hit by truck in Michigan's Bay County Wednesday November 4 2015

Authorities say a 68-year-old motorcyclist was killed after striking a deer and being hit by a truck as he lay in the roadway.
The Midland Daily News and WNEM-TV report David Obertein of Bentley was riding in Bay County's Pinconning Township Wednesday evening when he hit the deer. He was thrown from his bike, which landed in a ditch, and he was struck by a pickup truck.
Obertein, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
Police say dark clothing and conditions contributed to the second crash.
