York County, PA : Md. man dies after a car crash in Penn Township Saturday morning, August 13, 2016
A Maryland man died at York Hospital Saturday night after a morning car crash in Penn Township, according to the York County Coroner's office.
Howard Miller, 76, of Manchester, Md., was driving in Penn Township Saturday morning when he lost control of his vehicle around 6 a.m. and struck a utility pole around 937 Baltimore St., according to a news release.
Miller was the only one in the car and he was wearing his seat belt. He was taken to York Hospital, where he died around 8 p.m., the release says. Penn Township Police are investigating the crash.
Miller was a volunteer firefighter in Manchester, Md., the news release says.
