Fox River Grove police and firefighters responded about 3:10 p.m. Monday to Route 22 and Gardner Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash, Fox River Grove Fire Chief Robert Kreher said.
One vehicle had rear-ended the other, causing the driver of the car that was hit to be taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Fox River Grove Police Chief Eric Waitrovich said. Waitrovich said the injuries the person suffered were not life-threatening. He did not know any identifying details of the individual.
