Vidor man says car hydroplaned causing I-10 accident
A man said his car hydroplaned on the rain-soaked roadway of Interstate 10 Monday morning causing an accident in which his car overturned. The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. near mile marker 858 in Rose City.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from Vidor, and his mother were the only people inside the car. He said he was driving in the inside lane when his car hydroplaned and struck the concrete barrier. His car overturned and stopped in the westbound lanes of traffic.Trooper Stephanie Davis says there are no injuries.No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
