CLINTON, MD : Fatal crash that left a teen dead in Prince George's County involved a stolen car on Friday, 5th January 2024

A 15-year-old boy died in a car crash in Clinton, Maryland on Friday.

He has been identified as Shaun Shelton of Accokeek.

Officers arrived at the intersection of Piscataway Road and King Gallahan Court just after 12:30 p.m. for reports of a two-car collision.

A preliminary investigation by the Prince George's County Police Dep

artment revealed Shelton was driving a Kia Sedona minivan in the wrong direction in the southbound lane of Piscataway Road when he collided head-on with the pickup truck. The minivan had been reported stolen earlier in the day in Charles County.
