Paris, MO : Passenger injured in Monroe County crash on Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017
A 20-year-old Paris man was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Monroe County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2005 Dodge pickup truck driven by Jacob B. Allison, 23, of Paris, was heading east on Route P five miles northeast of Paris when the truck skidded, left the road, struck a culvert and overturned before coming to rest on its wheels.
Passenger Albert D. Langerud suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to the Columbia hospital. Allison was not injured.
Police said neither were wearing seat belts.
Assisting were the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Monroe County Ambulance and the Paris Fire Department.
