Circleville, OH : One person died in a single vehicle fatal crash on Kingston-Adelphi Road west of state Route 159 in Pickaway Township on Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2016

The Circleville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Kingston-Adelphi Road west of state Route 159 in Pickaway Township Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports from the OSP, a 1995 Buick Century driven by Juanita G. Ringhiser, 82, of Chillicothe, with a passenger, Paul E. Ringhiser, 87, of Logan, was traveling westbound on Kingston-Adelphi Road when she traveled off of the north side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The vehicle landed on its top. Mr. Ringhiser was pronounced deceased at the scene. Juanita Ringhiser was transported to Adena Medical Center, and then later to Grant Hospital for her injuries.

According to troopers, seatbelts were in use at the time of the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
