A Perry woman was injured Thursday in a three-vehicle accident in Kingfisher County.
Kiersten Haley Woods, 24, was taken to Kingfisher Mercy Hospital, then transferred to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 12:53 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 81 about 2 miles north of Kingfisher.
According to the report, Woods was driving a 2008 Nissan north in the inside lane of U.S. 81 when she hit the rear of a 2014 Kenworth driven by Jose Merlan Reyes, 35, of Oklahoma City. The impact sent Woods' vehicle into the outside northbound lane, where it was hit by a 2015 GMC driven by Agnes Janet Chlouber, 76, of Kingfisher.
Reyes and Chlouber were not injured. A 10-year old boy in Chlouber's vehicle also escaped injury.
The cause of the accident was listed on the report as "inattention — other distraction inside vehicle." Seat belts were in use by everyone expect Woods.
