EVART TOWNSHIP, MI : 1 dead after 2-vehicle crash in Evart Township on Wednesday, 30th September, 2020

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Evart Township on Wednesday morning.

MSP troopers from the Mount Pleasant Post responded to the crash about 10:15 a.m. on US-10 near North Industrial Drive, a news release said.

75-year-old Vernon Garry Deuel was traveling westbound on US-10 when he lost control of his vehicle, hitting an eastbound semi-cargo truck head-on.

Deuel was pronounced dead at the scene.
