Richmond, VA : New Kent man and woman died after a Single-car crash in Henrico on Monday, September 12, 2016

A New Kent man and woman were killed Monday after their car ran off the road and hit a tree in eastern Henrico County.

According to Henrico police, Gary Nathaniel Adkins, 24, and Jessica Breon Bradby, 22, both of Providence Forge in New Kent County, died about 5:15 p.m. when a Ford Crown Victoria went off the right side of Willis Church Road about a half-mile east of New Market Road.

The driver, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The Henrico police crash team is investigating and will determine whether speed or alcohol were factors in the accident.
