ACTON, ME : He was seriously injured a motorcycle crash in Acton on Saturday, September 2, 2017

A New Hampshire man is in stable condition after he was seriously injured Saturday afternoon during a motorcycle crash in Acton, officials said.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call at 3:45 p.m. for a single vehicle crash on Route 109.

The Sheriff’s Office said 56-year-old Dana Seaboyer, of New Hampshire, was riding his motorcycle eastbound with several other motorcyclists when he went off the road and into a tree.

Acton Fire and Rescue treated Seaboyer for significant head and leg injuries, deputies said. He was taken via Life Flight to Maine Medical Center.

Seaboyer was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, officials said. At last check he was in stable condition.

Officials said the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Portions of Route 109 that shut down early Saturday afternoon have reopened.
