Bullhead City,AZ : Highway 95 wreck sends two to hospital on December, Monday 18th 2017
A man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle collision in the intersection of Highway 95 and Riverview Drive. No further information about the injured man was immediately available. Josuph Richmond was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, said Cpl. Edward Mooney, Bullhead City Police Department spokesman. Richmond reportedly drove his vehicle through a red light while turning and collided with another vehicle, Mooney said. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Emergency crews responded about 4:50 p.m. to reports of the crash, said Battalion Chief Bill Kinsey, Bullhead City Fire Department. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage with airbags deployed. The crash closed both southbound lanes of Highway 95 for about an hour and southbound traffic was diverted east onto North Oatman Road.
