RYE, NH : Fatal crash closes Rye street on Sunday, 27th January 2019

A fatal crash has shut down a street in Rye on Sunday evening, officials confirm.

Rye police posted to social media that Wallis Road between Sea Glass Lane and Liberty Common is closed and is expected to remain closed for several hours as Eversource Energy workers repair a utility pole.Rye Fire Chief Mark Cotreau confirmed to News 9 that a vehicle rolled over and that there was one fatality involved in the crash.

Power was cut to two homes, officials said.
