Ontario, OR : Two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries following an accident on Thursday, July 13, 2017

Ontario Police officer Greg Bakken said two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries following an accident on Southwest Fourth Avenue, near Yturri Beltline, in Ontario Tuesday evening. A white 1999 Ford Ranger pickup, driven by Russell Wiggins, 64, was traveling west on Southwest Fourth Avenue when he was preparing to turn left onto U.S. Highway 201 when he collided with a green Subaru Outback that was traveling northbound on the highway, Ontario Police Chief Cal Kunz wrote in an email. Wyoma Rogers, 83, and a 36-year-old female passenger were in the subaru and both were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for minor injuries, Kunz said. The investigation is ongoing.
