Greeley, CO : One person hospitalized after central Greeley traffic crash on Saturday, September 9, 2017
One person was injured Saturday afternoon when a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in central Greeley.
The crash happened just after 12:35 p.m. near 16th Street and 11th Avenue when a pickup truck driven by David King, 30, of Evans pulled out in front of a motorcycle driven by 65-year-old Greeley resident Charles Miller, Greeley police Sgt. Mike Heck said.
Heck said King pulled his pickup truck out of a gas station on the northwest corner of the intersection and did not see Miller on his motorcycle, which was westbound on 16th Street.
Miller laid the bike down and collided with the pickup. He was taken by ambulance to North Colorado Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Heck said.
King will face a traffic citation for careless driving resulting in injury for his part in the crash, Heck said.
