A person has been killed in an accident.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday on Chap Road in the Twilight area of Boone County.
According to dispatchers, a car went off the road and hit a tree.
One person was killed in the accident.
No one else was hurt.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department is on scene.
