PRINCETON, NJ : Motorcycle rider killed in crash on Tuesday, 7th April, 2020

A 30-year-old man has died as a result of a car-vs.-motorcycle accident Tuesday evening.

Bureau County Sheriff Jim Reed in a news release reported that deputies were called at about 7:30 p.m. to Lover's Lane Road about a quarter mile west of South Main Street where an SUV and a motorcycle collided.

Witnesses at the scene told responders that the driver of the motorcycle was following an eastbound car and while attempting to pass, the rider collided head-on with the oncoming SUV.

The man, who has not yet been identified, pending notification of family, was transported to Perry Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
