EATON RAPIDS TWP, MI : Bikers seriously injured in Eaton Rapids crash on Thursday, 22nd August 2019

Two bicyclists were seriously injured Thursday after they were struck by a vehicle in Eaton Rapids.

The driver of the vehicle did not notice the two bicyclists, who were riding east on Island Highway near Gunnell Road, Michigan State Police said in a news release.

Police were called to the crash at 9:35 a.m. Thursday. The injuries were serious, but not life-threatening, police said.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, police said. Alcohol and drugs don't appear to be a factor in the crash, according to the release.
