CHAMBERSBURG, PA : Man dies in Franklin County motorcycle crash on Tuesday, August 1, 2017

A Waynesboro, Pa., man died Tuesday night after the motorcycle he was riding crashed in Metal Township, Pa., Pennsylvania State Police said.
Samuel R. Masters, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County coroner, according to a state police news release.
Troopers said the crash happened shortly after 8 p.m., when the 2006 Triumph that Masters was riding north on Richmond Road left the roadway and struck an embankment. The motorcycle then struck a tree.
Masters was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
