Motorcycle driver killed in Clayton County collision

Evans Road closed Friday morning following a motorcycle accident that killed the driver.

The motorcyclist crashed into a mini-van at the intersection of Evans and Rex Roads, just off Interstate 675 around 5:00.
Clayton County officer Phong Nguyen said the man, around 50 years old was taken to the hospital. He died shortly after from injuries. His name will be withheld until his family is notified.

Police determined that the accident was no hit and run.
The road was closed during Friday morning's commute.
