One person is dead after a crash in Scott County.

The sheriff’s office says the two-vehicle crash happened late Tuesday night in the area of Leestown Rd, just west of Weisenberger Mill.

According to the sheriff’s office, a car was traveling east on Leestown Rd when, for unknown reasons, it crossed the center line, crashing into another car that was traveling westbound.

The driver of the eastbound car was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.
