A Siloam man was killed Friday when equipment he was operating on his Quaker Church Road farm overturned, authorities say.
The victim, Joel Carroll Dotson, 56, had been driving “a farm-type vehicle,” with a friend, said John Shelton, director of emergency services for Surry County.
Shelton described the vehicle as a small ATV that carried passengers but did not confirm its make and model.
