HAUGHTON, LA : Shreveport woman dies in head-on collision on Wednesday, 7th February 2024

A Shreveport woman died of injuries that resulted from a crash on Interstate 20 on Wednesday.

According to Louisiana State Police Troop G, 38-year-old Alejandra Berry was traveling in a 2018 Jeep Cherokee westbound in the eastbound lane of I-20. At the same time, a 2024 Mack truck was traveling eastbound on I-20, and the Cherokee struck the 18-wheeler head-on and exited the left side of the roadway.

Berry was restrained at the time of the crash, but her injuries were fatal, and the Bossier Parish Coroner’s Office declared her dead on the scene.
