Kalihi, HI : Man dies in moped crash in Kalihi on Saturday night, December 3, 2016

A man is dead after a moped crash in Kalihi Saturday night.

Emergency Medical Services says it happened around 9:30 p.m. near the Kalihi Street Overpass. The moped rider in his 20s died at the scene. It is unknown if the man was wearing a helmet.

Police shut down south-bound lanes of Likelike Highway near School Street while they were on the scene.
