Florence ,OH : 20-year-old man killed and another injured afteraccident on Thursday morning ,july 23rd 2015

Police have identified the 20-year-old man who was killed in an accident Thursday morning in Florence.

Nicholas Wilde of Hebron was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2003 Volvo S-60 sedan swung into the path of a 2001 Toyota minivan, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. along Ted Bushelman Boulevard near the intersection with Aero Parkway, officials said.

Wilde over-corrected after his car went off the right side of the eastbound lane.

The minivan driver – 47-year-old Stephen O'Bryan – was transported to St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence. He sustained minor injuries, police said.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

The roadway, a two-lane road with a 45 mph speed limit, remained closed for more than three hours and reopened at 10:15 a.m., police said.
