HOUSTON, TX : 1 killed in crash involving apparent wrong-way driver on Eastex Fwy, causing complete roadway closures on Thursday, 11th April 2024

Authorities are piecing together what led up to a deadly crash overnight Thursday on IH-69 Eastex Freeway in north Harris County.

It happened a little after 4 a.m. in the northbound lanes at Rankin Road where Humble Police Department says it got a call about a wrong-way driver. Moments later, a crash occurred involving two vehicles.
