Newton County, GA : Motorcycle crash claims life of Oklahoma man on Tuesday, 4th September 2018

An Oklahoma man was killed in a motorcycle accident discovered Monday on Mulberry Road, a mile west of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Richard C. Clemmons, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 12:25 p.m. Monday, but the actual date and time of the crash remains unknown, the patrol said. Clemmons' body was taken to Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin.

He apparently was operating a northbound motorcycle that ran off the road on a curve, causing him to be thrown from the bike, the patrol said.
