A man died Saturday after a hit-and-run crash in a Leesburg parking lot, according to police.

Officers responded to the parking lot of Via Entertainment on U.S. Highway 441.

According to investigators, a 2018 silver Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling through the parking lot when it hit another vehicle. The pickup truck then struck two men walking in the parking lot—Michael Roberts, 27, of Ocala and Matthew Wilkerson, 26, of Citra.

The pickup truck fled the scene.

Roberts was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he later died, police said. Wilkerson refused medical assistance.

Police have not yet determined the identity of the driver.
