Brownstone Township, MI : Man dies in I-75 crash, found holding cellphone on Monday, October 20, 2014

Police say a 22-year-old driver who was killed in a Detroit-area freeway crash was found still holding a cellphone in his hand. In a statement, state police say Joe Ryan Contreras of South Rockwood drove a car into the back of a semi-truck on northbound Interstate 75 in Wayne County's Brownstown Township. The crash was reported about 12:05 a.m. Monday. Police say it's not known why Contreras hit the truck, but there were no skid marks at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
