Gainesville, FL: Man killed in I-75 crash on Wednesday, July 29th 2015

A 60-year-old man from Center Hill was killed late Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 75 when another driver lost control of his vehicle and struck the man’s
vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Nathan Zimmerman died at the scene after the 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan he was driving northbound on I-75 near mile marker 400 in Alachua County at around 5:35 p.m. was struck by a northbound silver 2003 Cadillas CTS being driven by Sharon E. Robinson, 53, of Lake City. Robinson lost control of her vehicle and traveled into the path of Zimmerman’s Caravan, FHP said.Both drivers were wearing seat belts, FHP said. Robinson was not injured in the crash. Charges are pending further investigation.
