Bullhead City, AZ : Two men injured in a head-on collision on Highway 95 near Corwin Road in Bullhead City on Monday evening, March 21, 2016

The two men injured in a head-on collision Monday evening in Bullhead City are reportedly recovering from their injuries.
According to the Bullhead City Police Department, Michael John Oates, 38, of Fort Mohave, was released Tuesday from the trauma center at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he was taken by helicopter from the scene of the crash on Highway 95 near Corwin Road in Bullhead City.
Richard Alexander Williams, 43, of Fort Mohave, was reported in stable condition at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
According to police reports, Williams was traveling north on Highway 95 when his Ford Explorer crossed into the southbound lanes, striking Oates’ southbound vehicle. The impact sent the Explorer over the guardrail on the west side of Highway 95, knocking down a light pole before coming to rest at the top of a steep slope a few feet from the roadway.
The CareFlight helicopter that took Oates to Las Vegas landed on Highway 95 near the accident scene. Highway 95 was closed for about three hours as emergency crews worked the accident scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Bullhead City PoliceDepartment, but BHCPD spokesowoman Emily Fromelt said charges against Williams are pending.
