CINCINNATI, OH : 5-year-old in critical condition, 3 others injured in Walnut Hills crash on Friday, 29th January 2021
A 5-year-old girl remains in critical condition Friday, one of four people wounded in a Walnut Hills three-car crash.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of Gilbert Avenue.
According to crash investigators, a 2002 Buick Century, driven by a 29-year-old woman, was northbound on Gilbert when her car went left of center, striking a southbound car head-on.
Three people were inside of that southbound 2008 Kia Spectra, police said, including a 5-year-old girl.
The Kia then struck a third southbound car, a 2001 Hyundai XG300.
The driver of the Buick was taken to an area hospital where she remains in serious condition.
All three people inside of the Kia were also taken to area hospitals. The 23-year-old driver and 20-year-old passenger are expected to survive, crash investigators said. Both are listed in serious condition.
A 5-year-old girl, who was also in that Kia, remains in critical conditions Friday morning.
Authorities said the driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
