Shoshone Woman Dies After Crash On Ontario Oregon
An accident on Highway 93 that killed one woman blocked traffic on Tuesday afternoon.Around 2 pm, a wreck involving a car and a semi–truck caused blockage on both sides of the road. Highway 93 has since re-opened.The accident happened just south of Shoshone in Lincoln County.According to Idaho State Police, 60–year–old Carl Farley of Ontario, Oregon, was driving southbound in a semi pulling a trailer.72–year–old Ramona Allen of Shoshone, was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, when she drifted over the center line.The semi driver maneuvered his truck into the emergency lane. However, the car struck the semi.Allen was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley, where she later died due to injuries from the crash.
Seatbelts were worn.The crash is currently under investigation.
