Leesburg, VA : 28-year-old Michael Larrick dies in Route 15 crash on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017

A man is dead after a crash in the Leesburg area Wednesday morning, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

According to the LCSO, "around 5:50 a.m., the southbound driver of a 2008 Ford F-150 crossed over the center line of Route 15 near Montresor Road. The driver of the truck collided with the driver of a 2013 Subaru Impreza."

The driver of the Subaru, 28-year-old Michael Larrick, of Leesburg, lost his life at the scene. The driver of the pick-up did not have serious injuries, and he declined treatment from rescue at the scene, according to LCSO.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation and charges are pending.
