Lehi, UT : 21-year-old and 19-year-old man seriously injured in T-bone accident 175 East and 3200 North in Lehi on Wednesday, Aug 5, 2015

An accident in northeast Lehi sent two men to the hospital in critical condition.

According to Sgt. Bill Loveridge with the Lehi Police Department, a silver passenger car attempting a left turn from 175 East to 3200 North was broadsided by a white flatbed truck heading west.

Loveridge said the 21-year-old male driver of the silver car was transported via air ambulance to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo in "extremely critical condition."

The 19-year-old male passenger in the car was transported via ambulance to UVRMC in critical condition.

The driver of the flatbed truck did not receive notable injuries, Loveridge said.

Drugs and alcohol are not a factor in the crash, but speed and a failure to yield in the intersection are being investigated.
