Camden County, MO : 53-year-old man killed in a two-vehicle accident on Route HH near Duckhead Road on Sunday, March 29, 2015

A Lake Ozark man was killed in a head-on collision early Sunday.

The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Route HH near Duckhead Road in Camden County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 53-year-old John McGowin failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and hit another car head-on.

McGowin was taken to Lake Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other driver and her passengers suffered moderate injuries.
