WARREN, NY : Herkimer Co. man killed in motorcycle crash on Friday, 23rd September 2016

A Herkimer County man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday, state police announced Saturday.

At about 10:45 a.m., Alfred L. Dygert, 40, of Kingdom Road, was driving on Robinson Road when he lost control on a curve, went off the south shoulder of the road and down a rock-lined ditch, police said.

The motorcycle traveled end-over-end before coming to rest in an adjacent field.

Dygert was pronounced deceased at the scene.
