Two people have been killed in a motorcycle crash in western Massachusetts.

It happened Thursday night on Route 23 in Blandford, about 25 miles west of Springfield.

The area around the crash was closed as authorities investigated.

State police have not released the names of the victims.

It's unclear what led to the crash.
