Charlotte, NC : Montel Alonzo Bullock, 19, killed in a single-car crash in northeast Charlotte on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2014

A teen was killed in a single-car crash in northeast Charlotte Wednesday morning, according to police. Montel Alonzo Bullock, 19, ran off the road and struck a tree in the 11600 Mallard Creek Road around 6 a.m., near the University City area. Bullock was driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris in the rain when the crash happened. Medic pronounced the teen dead on scene. Police don't believe alcohol contributed to the crash but are investigating whether speed was a factor.
