Madison, WI : Antonio R. Gentry, 24, injured in 100 mph interstate chase, crash on I-94 westbound near Lake Mills on Friday morning, February 20, 2015

A Madison man was injured in a crash following a chase early Friday morning.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said they received reports of an erratic driver of a Jaguar on I-94 westbound near Lake Mills at 4 a.m. A trooper found the car near Cottage Grove and saw it speeding and swerving across traffic lanes.

The trooper said the driver accelerated to more than 100 mph when a traffic stop was attempted. The driver lost control of his car and struck the median wall on I-90 eastbound near the 141 mile marker.

Antonio R. Gentry, 24, was initially unconscious but regained consciousness at the scene, according to the State Patrol. He was taken to UW Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
