Cullman,AL : Cullman woman killed in Highway 278 wreck; 3 injured on Sunday, 22nd April 2018

A Cullman woman was killed in a wreck on U.S. 278 Sunday morning.

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick said Robyn Ronae Cannell, 52, was killed in a crash on U.S. 278 West near the Crooked Creek Bridge.

According to Alabama State Troopers, Cannell was traveling east on U.S. 278 when the 2011 Ford Fiesta she was driving was struck head on by a 2002 Toyota Sequoia driven by Austin James McCord, 25, of Addison.

Cannell, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Austin McCord and two other occupants of the Toyota, Scarlett McCord, 27, and Emmett McCord, 3, were transported to Cullman Regional, troopers said.
