Houston, TX : One person killed in struck by SUV Highway 6 on Houston on Sunday November 29 2015

A man was struck and killed while crossing Highway 6 on Houston's west side, police said overnight.
The highway was shut down near Memorial for about four hours but reopened around 5 a.m.
Police said a woman driving a small SUV struck the man in the northbound lanes. She stayed at the scene to speak with police, and no charges are expected in the case.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
