WORCESTER, VT : Keene man charged in Vermont crash on Sunday, 5th August 2018

Vermont State Police charged a Keene man in connection with a single-car crash on Elmore Road early Sunday morning.

Ricky Laprade Jr., 26, faces one count of driving under the influence of drugs following the crash, according to a news release from Vermont State Police.He is scheduled to be arraigned in the Washington Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Montpelier.

Laprade was driving a 2003 Subaru Legacy when it crashed in the town of Worcester, northeast of Waterbury, according to the news release.He was taken by ambulance to Central Vermont Medical Center to be treated for non-incapacitating injuries, the news release said.
