Melville, NY : Lake Grove crash fatally injures pedestrian, Suffolk cops say on Thursday, 10th November 2016

Sixth squad detectives are investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident Thursday evening in Lake Grove.

Suffolk County police said the victim, whose identity was not released pending notification of next of kin, was struck and killed about 5 p.m. by a vehicle traveling westbound on Route 347 near New Moriches Road.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and said no criminality.
