LOUISIANA, MO : Louisiana man injured in Pike County crash on Monday, 20th January, 2020

A Louisiana man was injured in a Monday morning crash in Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2005 Dodge Ram driven by David M. Whitehead, 18, of Louisiana, was traveling east on Pike County Road 251, west of Route D, at 10:30 a.m. The patrol said the driver failed to negotiate a curve on the ice-covered road, and the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.

Whitehead, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Pike County Ambulance District to Pike County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
