Investigators say an SUV driver was killed when the vehicle struck a tanker truck that exploded in a fiery accident at a Central Texas gas station.
Autopsy results were pending Saturday on the driver who died in the accident in Killeen.
Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced the victim dead at the scene Friday morning. Police announced one fatality but initially didn't say who died in the fire, which was extinguished several hours after the crash.
