Clarksville, TN : Man dies after fatal crash on 41A bypass on Monday, March 20, 2017

One person was killed in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on U.S. 41A bypass in Clarksville on Monday around 7 a.m.

According to Clarksville Police, the collision occurred between a car and a semi-tractor trailer which killed Clarksville resident Rodney Howard.

Howard was traveling southbound and for unknown reason drifted into oncoming traffic which ended in a collision. He died at the scene from injuries.

Traffic was shut down for almost 6 hours after the crash before it was reopened at 1:15 p.m. Monday.
